Baahubali The Lost Legends, a spin-off of the incredible Baahubali franchise is ready for a television premiere. Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution platform for the first time on Indian television presents Baahubali: The Lost Legends S04 produced by Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks on Tata Sky Fun Learn. This animated series will be available in both English and Hindi.

Mahishmati and its protectors face their greatest challenge. They are targets of a mysterious new force, seeking revenge on the legendary kingdom. Of course, the audiences have their fill of intrigue, war, action, and adventure, this season showcases,

The season features never-before-revealed stories about the characters. The characters in this series include Prince Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, Kattappa, and Sivagami. The series introduces new characters and expanding the world of Baahubali.

Baahubali is a rare franchise that has seen unprecedented  success in India. The two movies were blockbusters. The spin off animated series has got some great reviews as well. The Bollywood fantasy series is the first to hit theaters in almost three decades. Bollywood has a rich history of fantasy and mythology movies, dating back to the forties.

Things went belly up for the fantasy genre in India in the nineties. Thats’s because big budget movies like Ajooba and Drona failing at the box office. This essentially packed up the franchise genre for Bollywood movie makers. That’s until Baahubali made its way to the screens. With the success, we have spin-offs like Baahubali The Lost Legends

Nevertheless, there was a market for the fantasy/superhero genre in the nineties for television, with series like Alif Laila, Shaktimaan, Haatim and Chandrakanta ruling the roost in that decade. With the lockdown, some fans also wanted Doordarshan to rerun the fantasy series like Alif Laila and Chandrakanta, but that didn’t happen. Audiences of all ages will now be able to enjoy the Baahubali spin-off, which was available only Amazon Prime until now.
