Bhoot Part One The Haunted Ship Trailer Horror Done Right

Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship has a brand new trailer. Audiences are anticipating this movie ever since the announcement. It is actually, the most anticipated Bollywood horror movie after the Go, Goa, Gone sequel.

The trailer gives us much more insight into the movie and the idea that Bollywood has finally thrown away the yoke of retro horror. Here’s the trailer, if you haven’t already watched it:

Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship Trailer:

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship is about a ghost ship that’s now anchored at Juhu Beach. An investigating officer, (Vicky Kaushal) now has to investigate how the ship landed at Juhu Beach and find out the history of the ship.

The story’s interesting and a fresh take in Bollywood horror. Most of the Indian horror movies are about haunted houses and haunted kothis. In some cases, even haunted people end up in the storylines. But a haunted ship – that’s a new one.

The trailer looks promising. Looks like the movie has all the jump scares, the thrill and most importantly, a strong backstory to what’s happening and will happen. By the looks of it, director Bhanu Pratap Singh has it in him to create one of the most intense and creepy horror movies.

This is Karan Johar’s next big venture into the horror forte. This is his second project after Ghost Stories, the Netflix anthology in which he directed one movie. Only the most hardened Bollywood horror movie fans will remember Kaal, the early 2000s movie coming from the Dharma banner. That movie was a nature-creature horror that unfortunately tanked at the box office.
