Indian Horror Comedy Bhoot Police Gets First Look

Bollywood Horror Film

Bollywood Horror Film Bhoot Police will instantly give you a Ghostbusters feel. Well, which other film do you remember three people go up and hunt ghosts – with a dash of humor to it. Bhoot Police has three characters. Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh portray these. There’s one more announcement – the film’s 3D, making this one of those rare 3d Bollywood horror films. The first poster that Fatima posted on her Instagram is by no means a graphical masterpiece. It looks like the shared picture is the raw work for a poster that should reach the newswires soon. But brownie points to Fatima for bringing up the news.

Saif  takes up some interesting projects. He’s poised for Laal Kaptaan. He became the critic’s darling with  his portrayal in Sacred Games.  So on and so forth. He became this site’s favorite with his two films, Go, Goa, Gone and Being Cyrus. Also, Saif  does have a horror film – actually a supernatural film – under his belt. The 1997 film Hamesha had a reincarnation theme. He starred along with Kajol. The villain in the film was Aditya Pancholi.

This again proves that more and more mainstream content creators are looking to make Bollywood horror films. In this year alone, stars like Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and others starred in Stree, another Bollywood horror film – albeit with a dash of comedy. Then again, entire franchises have gone the horror way. Golmaal 4, the fourth film in the Golmaal franchise also was a comedy Bollywood Horror film.
