Bollywood Horror Movies

Ragini MMS first started out as a film that released in 2011 and was one of the most successful Bollywood horror movies. The film was a sleeper hit, and gave rise to the sequel, Ragini MMS 2. This time, the Bollywood horror film starred Sunny Leone and others. Later, when Balaji launched their streaming platform, Ragini MMS became one of their most successful and popular web series. The first season starred Karishma Sharma and others. The series started streaming last year, on October 19. With the casting done, it seems that the streaming date for Ragini MMS Returns will be sometime in October as well – nearing Halloween time.

The streaming platforms have really become the go to platforms for interesting and edgy projects like Ragini MMS and its ilk. Every other platform, including home brewing ones like ZEE5 are working closely to create horror web series that’ll cater to a younger, more open audience.  In fact, ALTBalaji was the first platform to openly say their series is a horrex one. That’s all the better for the discerning Bolywood horror fan. This might just be the second golden era for the Bollywood horror fan.
