Conjuring 3 is one of the most anticipated horror movies in 2020. We know several aspects of the third part in the Conjuring franchise. Today, the horror movie makers released the official title of the horror movie, Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It.

The title of Conjuring 3 is in line with everything that the Internet has been speaking about the horror movie. Earlier, there were rumors that the movie was about a werewolf. Then, there was news that the movie will feature the younger roles of Ed and Lorraine. The cast and crew members confirmed most of these rumors. There was also news that the third part of the franchise wouldn’t be about a haunted house or a property. The makers announced that Megan Ashley Brown and Mitchell Hoog will play the younger versions of Loraine and Ed Warrens.

Here’s the synopsis:

“The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. It starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy. The duo embarks on a journey that takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before. It marks the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.”

The synopsis also confirms that the horror movie will tackle the aspect of a criminal saying that they committed a crime due to a possession, which would have them literally speak the words that make the title of the horror movie. With the title out, I wonder if the franchise is going more in the tongue-in-cheek, woke humor zone. The Devil Made Me Do It is an often repeated phrase and is sometimes used to sarcastically cover all the ‘devil theories’.  We’ll know all that and more in September 2020.
