Escape Room 2 To Feature This Iconic Horror Actress?

Isabelle Fuhrman

Hollywood Horror Film Escape Room was a fantastic film that catered to the masses as well as the critics. The film had a sequel written all over it even before the end credits and news about the said sequel has been brimming around all the while. After all, the film did make north of a $100 million on a budget south of $10 million.  Collider reports that Isabelle Fuhrman, that wonderful, wonderful talent from Orphan might join the cast. Nothing’s cast in stone as yet – its all rumor mongering. But its been a while we saw Isabelle in a horror film.

Isabelle Fuhrman has wowed audiences in Orphan

Given the eerie aftertaste Isabelle left in our collective minds with the Hollywood Horror Film Orphan, I am sure most of us are welcoming this news. Isabelle’s great run actually makes me put her up with the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) and Sigourney Weaver (Alien). Fans might find this far fetched, but look at the Halloween costumes and you’ll see what an impact Isabelle has had on the horror genre – with one film. Escape Room 2 is set to hit theaters in August, 2020.

More casting news on this, the horror sequel also has director Adam Robitel, screenwriter Bragi F. Schut, and producer Neal H. Moritz return. According to reports, Escape Room 2 will have the two survivors, Ben and Zoey go after the organization that ruined their lives. There’s no word on what role Isabelle will play, if she has signed up for the role, that is.
