Horror film franchise The Invisible Man has a brand new trailer. Blumhouse has done a great job of the fil. They have gone ahead and married the stalker aspect to the actual idea of a man going invisible. The longish trailer hints at this horror film being a masterpiece that changes both genres – sci-fi and psychological horror. The franchise has a rich history, you should read about it here.

In the film, Cecilia doesn’t believe her abusive boyfriend has committed suicide. It all comes together when a mysterious force begins to hound and torture her once again. The horror film stars Elisabeth Moss as Cecilia and Oliver Jackson-Cohen as her boyfriend, Adrian, and The Invisible Man. The other members of the cast are Storm Reid, Aldis Hoge, Harriet Dyer along with Benedict Hardie, Amali Golden, Sam Smith, and Anthony Brandon Wong. Leigh Whannel writes and directs. Leigh has earlier given us films like Saw, Update and Insidious: Chapter 3.
Its good to see that the classic horror concept has now come to the right hands. A few years ago, Mahesh Bhatt tried his hand at sci-fi with Mr. X, starring Emraan Hashmi. The only reason it was memorable because Tanmay Bhatt made his debut in the horror film. I don’t think even he remembers that film. That film was an unmitigated disaster that flopped badly at the box office. Over here, I think this is the film that’ll relaunch the Universal Monsterverse.
