Quite frankly, we are living in franchise resurrection times. We are seeing Hollywood horror movies and franchises from the eighties still going strong. Now, there’s news about an addition to a  modern franchise that’s still on strong legs.  A new horror film in the Wrong Turn franchise is in the works and there’s information about it over at IMDb. Interestingly, there’s not teaser or a poster, but there’s a generous enough information about the cast. Along with Matthew Modine, the film also stars Emma Dumont, Charlotte Vega, Damian Maffei, Bill Sage, Valerie Jane Parker, Chaney Morrow, David Hutchinson and oh the list goes on and on. Here’s the entire list:

This is also one of the biggest cast for a horror film. Dylan McTee, Adrian Favela, Adain Bradley, Jeremy Ambler, Cory Scott Allen, Gary Ray Stearns, Rhyan Elizabeth Hanavan, Vardaan Arora, Mark Mench, Joshua Stephen Campbell, Jennie Malone, Brian James Fitzpatrick and Mark Angel. That’s a big star cast. Wondering why? Well, the synopsis has the answer. According to Bloody Disgusting, this time, the Hollywood horror film will have hitchhikers take a wrong turn and end up in a mountainous region, which is home to a group of people who just don’t like strangers. Alan McElroy writes, the director is Mike P. Nelson.

The Hollywood horror movies  franchise is basically about cannibals trying to kill and eat up human beings. Fans love this Hollywood horror flm for the gory violence and slasher origins. The first  film released in 2003. Since then, we have seen 5 Wrong Turn films, each releasing almost two years later – keeping the franchise fresh and alive. This film, titled Wrong Turn, is looking at a 2020 release. As the name suggests, its a reboot.
