Indian Horror Novel Yakshini Gets a Cover Reveal

Indian Horror Novels are increasing in popularity slowly, but surely. Several young authors are now coming up with fresh stories in the horror genre. Neil  D’Silva recently launched the book cover of his upcoming book Yakshini. Rupa Publications will be publishing the book.  Neil has earlier written Maya’s New Husband and Pishacha. Neil took to his Facebook account to launch the cover.

According to the post, Yakshini is the story of a fifteen year old girl, with the spirit of a Yakshini inside her. This is both her blessing and her curse. She finds this out while growing in the male-dominated society. With elements of both mythology and horror, Yakshini is a multilayered tale that will resonate with a large spectrum of readers. Yakshini will hit the stands sometime in October (when else?) 2019. This book has been repped by literary agents The Book Bakers.

The Indian horror content market is becoming bigger and stronger with each passing week. Numerous authors have now locked onto horror, suspense and thriller genres as the ones that they want to make their name in. All this could only be good for the horror market in India.
