Jamie Lee Curtis is an incredible horror movie almuni. She started it all with the Halloween franchise. That franchise is still going strong – decades after the first movie hit the screens. Jamie was at the front and centre of the new sequels, the last which should release in 2021.  Jame Lee Curtis and Blumhouse will also collaborate for an eco-horror movie, Mother Nature. The horror movie will have a climate change concept.

Curtis and Blumhouse have signed a three year first-look deal via Curtis’ Comet Pictures.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Blumhouse had a wildly successful, global collaboration with the horror movie Halloween, which starred Curtis and was directed by David Gordon Green. The film went on to become the highest-grossing installment in the classic horror franchise at more than $255 million worldwide.

It had the biggest debut for a horror movie with a female lead and the biggest opening for a movie with a 55+ female lead. The franchise has two additional movies — Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. They release on October 16, 2020 and October 15, 2021 respectively. Curtis serves as an executive producer on all three horror movies.
