John Abraham Joins Cast of Ek Villain 2

Ek Villain 2 is on the way. Director Mohit Suri is firmly in the seat and the Bollywood thriller movie will go on floors anytime soon. According to reports, Ek Villain 2 will feature two antagonists, who are facing off against each other. This is a unique concept, but only of the writers evolve it to its full potential. The anti-hero pitted against the villain is passe now. If the script actually turns up a conflict between two villains, we have a new franchise on our hands. According to reports, the movie goes on the floors in June.

Aditya Roy Kapur is making his debut in the franchise with Ek Villain 2. Joining him is John Abraham., John Abraham is popular today for his patriotism tinged movies, but has his share of psychological thrillers as well. Fans know him for movies like Karam and Aetbaar. In Karam, he played an assassin who has to return to business after a gang leader kidnaps his wife. Fans will also remember his work in Zinda, where he was pitted against Sanjay Dutt. One of his lesser-known movies as an antagonist is Aetbaar. He played a psychotic boyfriend in the movie.

Ek Villain was an eerie movie that got under your skin. Ritesh Deshmukh’s raw performance was the perfect foil for Shraddha Kapoor’s naive character. Siddharth Malhotra did a good job of flexing his muscles and doing the job of bashing up the villains until he came face to face with the psychotic killer. The movie was also woke enough to talk about nagging wives and have a woman as a negative character. Let’s hope Ek Villain 2 has the same texture.

There’s no news on who the female leads in the movie will be. And there’s no news whether KRK will be reprising his role in this one as well.
