Swwapnil Joshi Thriller Web Series Samantar Looks Interesting

Swwapnil Joshi is trying out a two genres, and that’s good news for Marathi cinema fans. His upcoming movie, Bali, is an out and out horror movie. He is also part of a thriller web series, Samantar. The trailer for the web series is out and looks interesting. Joshi’s character is in search of a man, Sudarshan Chakrapani.

The trailer promises a taut, intense thriller. Swwapnil seems to have lost some weight to look the part. When an actor consciously makes changes to his look for a project, it always spells good news for the project as a whole.

The trailer’s well-cut, so it creates suspense and keeps the audiences interested. Samantar will soon stream on the MX Player platform.  The series stars Tejaswani Pandit as well.

Swwapnil Joshi made his Bollywood movie debut with the Nana Patekar starrer Ghulam-E-Mustafa. He then went on to perform in movies like Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Manini, Checkmate, and Amhi Satpute. He later starred in the superhit Marathi movie Duniyadari.  He was last in the 2019 Marathi movie, Mogra Pulala. APart from the movies Laal Ishq and Check Mate, Swwapnil hasn’t been part of a thriller or an action movie.

We don’t have many thriller web series, so this is good news for Marathi thriller content fans. MX Player makes some good stuff, so I am quite kicked about this project.
