No, this is not the first horror film Tabu stars in, but definitely the more interesting of the three. Tabu has officially joined the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is a proper sequel, so there’s nothing that anyone knows about the script and the characters, except, of course, the crew members and the actors themselves. Quite frankly, I am not very excited about the film, because the director this time is Anees Bazmee.
The director of the original comedy film, Priyadarshan, is the master of telling quaint human stories in an entertaining manner. Bazmee is more well known for his slap-dash kind of film-making, something that doesn’t work for a horror film or a psychological thriller. Coming to Tabu, her last horror film was the comedy-horror Golmaal 4. However, she will live forever in internet infamy because of her role in the Guddu Dhanoa directed Hawa. The Internet rarely talks about this horror film starring Tabu. So, I consider it my journalistic responsibility to tell my audience about this film.
Watch Hawa film here:
I have absolutely no idea how Dhanoaji convinced Tabu to play a role in such a cliched Bollywood film. The ilm has since then gone into internet infamy because of the ghost forced sexual intercourse scene. She is well known for playing some of the most interesting female characters in the most happening Bollywood films. The nineties were not good for her, but she changed all that with films like Maachis, Hu Tu Tu and other such intelligent films. Her most popular role right now is that of a murderess in Andhadhun.
