Amazon Prime knows that March 13 is Friday the 13th, an important day for horror fans. They are gearing up to bring to audiences the Agatha Christie murder mystery, The Pale Horse. The Pale Horse is one of the few Agatha Christie novels that hinted at the supernatural. A woman dies, leaving behind a list of men and women. One by one, the men and women end up dying, leaving one survivor.
Soon, there’s talk of a cult of witches killing people, and all with reason. Now, the survivor, along with the authorities, has to find out just who – and how many – are behind the killings. The novel features her detective Adrian Oliver.
This is one of the rare Agatha Christie novels that have a supernatural aspect to it. Agatha has created such influential novels like Ten Little Indians for the psychological thriller genre, but rarely ventured into the spooks-and-ghosts genre.
